LangBridge^® - A Wealth of Meanings

LangBridge was founded by linguist-lexicographers and IT-experts to create a research workshop that is also able to produce modern, high-quality and marketable products.

The research workshop was based upon our shared belief and promise that through the important results of individual research carried out over the years, the significant amount of expertise accumulated in the fields of editing, translation and information technology, as well as the innovative ideas of product development it will be able to finance itself, and support further linguistic and IT-research and in-house development - thus offering a middle road, or building a bridge between profit-oriented organizations that often need to deprioritize, or attribute less importance to the scientific background and quality, and non-profit institutions that are in a constant state of underfinancing.

The team is helped by additional experts working in high school or university education, translators and researchers. Their role as informants and collaborators, their advice and careful work also add a great value to our databases and products.
